"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well."
-- Virginia Woolf
The Distinguished Restaurants of North America is a non-profit organization that, by recognizing excellence, seeks to promote distinguished dining throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The organization was founded in 1990 with a mission to serve as the authority for recognizing and promoting excellence in dining.
The DiRōNA Quality Assurance Program is the only independent and anonymous restaurant inspection program that operates across North America. An extensive criteria and impartial inspection is used to evaluate all aspects of a distinguished dining experience.
A restaurant eligible to display DiRōNA certification is presenting the highest distinction to be achieved in the distinguished dining and hospitality communities.
